Community Rules

1. Debate the position, not the person

Challenge ideas and reasoning. Do not insult, threaten, intimidate, shame, or target another person.

2. No hateful or dehumanising content

Do not attack people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or another protected characteristic.

3. Make an honest argument

Write your own position. Do not impersonate someone, deliberately misrepresent a source, coordinate manipulation, or submit spam.

4. Protect private information

Do not publish passwords, addresses, phone numbers, private messages, financial information, or other personal data belonging to you or anyone else.

5. Keep it lawful and safe

Do not promote illegal activity, sexual exploitation, graphic violence, self-harm, or instructions intended to cause real-world harm.

6. Stay within the format

• Choose only one side for each topic.
• Submit one argument of no more than 500 characters.
• Keep every comment and reply relevant to the specific argument it belongs to.
• Use comment likes and dislikes to react to quality, not to harass a member.
• Vote only once per argument, using either FOR or AGAINST.
• Do not use formatting tricks to evade the character limit.
• A cancelled argument cannot be resubmitted for the same topic.

7. Use reports responsibly

Report profiles, arguments, comments, or replies when they break these rules. Do not use reports to punish disagreement or silence a fair opposing view.

Enforcement

Waiting arguments may appear in public voting and archive views. Comments, replies, and reports may be reviewed for moderation. Bothlo may remove unlawful content, restrict accounts, or pause access when a member breaks these rules.
